Deadstock : The Boxed Sets

Boxing the Deadstock

We began preparing for a re-release of a portion of our back catalog in the spring of 2021, after a series of remastering projects the previous year. The idea was to issue a boxed set of our earliest recordings that had seen very limited circulation or digital distribution only. The project was shelved, but in 2025 was revisited and greatly expanded.

November 2025 marks the release of the first of three planned collections. Each box will be curated by theme, and more loosely, chronology. Each will contain comprehensive remastered editions of both previously-released and unreleased albums. Together, the collections are intended to be the physical representation of what will be our 40-year library, for those who are into the curatorial thing.

Deadstock I: Reanimation and Other Early Topics

This collection includes most of our earliest work, and also focuses on the various projects concerned with reanimation and dead places. The box includes 12 CDRs, 13 hours of material, and what we count as at least 39 additional or unreleased tracks. And most everything has been remastered.

The packaging is composed of salvaged shipping documents and carbon paper from an abandoned factory in Illinois, and housed in a clear plastic box.

Limited Edition of 100.
